Head office INKOMPASS:

Field Sales INKOMPASS:

We have more than 500 professionals working in the field all around Canada. With this internship, you will be at the center of everything. Build real relationships with retailers, commercial teams, planning and marketing, and have the experience of a lifetime.

Who can apply to INKOMPASS Field sales?
We are looking for interns who are:

  • Fluent in English and French for Quebec
  • Eager to learn and open-minded
  • Excellent team players
  • Have access to a car
  • Willing to be on the field 5 days a week

How to apply? Applying for INKOMPASS is a very simple process and takes only a few minutes. All you have to do is fill out the application for the internship program.

  • Application

    Go to the ‘Join us’ button and choose between the roles of Field Sales and Head Office. Once you've made your selection, go through the details of the application that best suits you and then apply.

  • Evaluation

    If you meet the criteria, you’ll be invited for a digital interview which will evaluate your communication, team building and problem-solving skills. Upon completion of the interview, you will move forward to an online assessment to evaluate your analytical skills.

  • Virtual On Ground Assessment Day

    If you were successful with step 2 you will get invited to a Virtual On Ground Assessment day, where you will participate in various team activities with RBH experts, and engage with other fellow candidates.

  • Internship Offer

    Selected candidates will receive an internship offer from RBH.

The application process is as follows:

  • Complete the online application process on INKOMPASS website. If you meet the criteria, you will be invited to the next step.
  • Complete the digital interview with HireVue. If you meet the criteria, you will be invited to the next step.
  • Take an online assessment test. If you meet the criteria, you will be invited to the next step.
  • Participate in an Virtual/on-ground assessment (VOGA). If you meet the criteria, you will be invited to be an INKOMPASS intern!

Yes. You will receive information about your application progress during each step of the process on your registered email. You will receive an email confirmation regarding your status, whether or not you meet the criteria to move ahead in the application process. If you do not hear back from us within 2-3 weeks of completing an application step, please contact us at contact@inkompass.global.

No. Once the application deadline has passed, it is not possible to apply. This is to ensure that all candidates go through the same process.

Yes, you can apply again if the program is active in some other country. However, please note that INKOMPASS follows the same selection process globally.

Each country has different requirements for INKOMPASS interns in terms of country of residence, current year of study, timing of the program, etc. We encourage you to contact us at contact@inkompass.global if you want country specific information.

No. You are responsible for covering any expenses that may arise in order for you to be present and available in the country for the duration of your internship.

If, on the other hand, we send you to another country for business purposes, then, all related expenses will be covered.

Yes, you can review and edit your information on your profile page at any point in time during the application period. We recommend that you correct any errors in your application as soon as possible, in order to have a smooth process.

A HireVue video interview is a digital interview that allows you to introduce yourself and your capabilities to us. HireVue enables you to complete your interview in your own time from the comfort of your own space. During the interview, we will be asking you a few questions on the competencies that you will have to demonstrate to become a successful intern at Rothmans, Benson & Hedges.

If you are not satisfied with your answer, you have the option to re-record it. If you choose that option, remember your second recording will be final and you will have to submit it.

Once your interview is completed, the system will translate your recording into text by analysing your response. We do not consider other factors such as facial features but the scoring is solely done on things you say.

Yes, the INKOMPASS internship offers a very competitive salary.

No. However, this can be examined on a case-by-case basis (i.e. if you faced technical difficulties while taking the online test, if you were unable to complete the tests within the alotted time due to extenuating circumstances, etc.).

"The on-ground assessment is the final step in the INKOMPASS selection process. It is a one-day event where candidates can showcase their skills in business cases and team activities, network with other applicants, and meet current RBH employees. This occurs in a fun and cool setting so that you feel at ease and can deliver your best.

While this is an on-ground event, currently it takes place virtually as most markets are still working from home. The Virtual on-ground assessment or VOGA is as fun and engaging and gives the candidates the same opportunities to showcase their skills. "

No, there is no need to prepare for the Virtual/on-ground assessment. Just make sure you arrive on time with full energy and a good attitude.

Yes, the INKOMPASS internship offers a very competitive salary. Salaries vary on a country-to-country basis.

This will vary on a country-to-country basis. However, in general, projects are available in the following departments: Marketing, Sales, Finance, HR, Corporate Affairs, Operations, Information Systems (IS). You can visit the website to learn more.

During the selection process, we will try our best to match you to a department based on your interests and your strengths.

Depending on the project scope and expected deliverables, projects may require individual or group work. In any case, you can be sure that all projects will be meaningful, challenging, and will give you the opportunity to showcase and further develop your skills, whether it is in an individual or group setting.

Every INKOMPASS intern will receive day-to-day guidance and support from their COACH, who has the same function as a supervisor. He/she will introduce you to your project, clarify expectations, guide you on a day-to-day basis, and provide you with feedback.

In addition, you will also receive support from:

  • Your PROJECT SPONSOR, who will ensure you have everything you need in terms of resources and budget to execute your proposals
  • Your BUDDY, who will help you answer general questions and network with different people and departments in the company.

After the completion of your internship, if you meet the required performance standards, and if there is an opening available that is suitable to your profile, you may receive a job offer. However, this is not a given.
